Chipmunks - Castor Beans??

I have discovered in the past few days that something has been chewing off my Sweet potatoe vines!! I think it is chipmunks, they are everywhere but never did any real damage before. Would Castor beans deopped in their holes get rid of them??

My chipmunks don't touch any of my plants. Not even my sweet potato vine. I have a problem with bunnies coming in through the fence once in awhile though. I actually feed my chipmunks with a squirrel feeder. I guess you have to do what you have to do though if you feel that they are destroying your things. I love mine ;)

someone I know makes them. That's one of those big pickle jars that you can buy at the store...........the really huge ones.......what are they? a gallon or something? I love it....lol
