I just bought a bowtie vine this week. I can't find any info about it. Is it hardy, need full sun, etc? Can anyone help?
Bowtie vine
Dalechampia dioscoreafolia also called Costa Rican Butterfly vine. It's hardy in zone 11, maybe 10.
Oh fun, I have seen pictures of these. Hope you can grow it, Cala I bet you will be trying this in Texas.
I'm gonna try. I should ask Dee how hardy it is, she's the one I got mine from.
Thanks for the info,Calalily. I hope it is as vigorus as it looks!

I just received this vine in my order from Logee's last month. It came in a 2 in. pot and I potted it up to 4 inch pot. It has grown quite a bit and even has it's first little flower on it. Sure is a pretty little thing. It's now time for it to go into another pot or the ground. I'll take a pic of it tomorrow, so you can see how cute it is. lol
