Sick Yew

I acquired a Yew bush last fall and enjoyed the rich green needles throughout the winter by the front door-yard. However with the hot weather and moisture in Atlanta this spring and summer, its color is pale and needles are turning yellow and brown and unhealthy looking. It is in a bright sunlit location most of the day and gets watered regularly. All I can find as a potential problem is that these plants (Taxus) are prone to get weevils, is there anyone who has had this problem and how to solve it.

Dogan, I wondered when I saw your bougie picture, and here you mention Atlanta. Are they too wet? we've had so much rain, and you're watering too. I'm not watering anything that's in the ground. we've never had this much rain in the summer that I can recall and it's just playing havoc with everything.
and btw, welcome to Dave's Garden:)
we are having a get-together in October in High Falls, would love to meet you there. all the info is here: http://davesgarden.com/t/388972/ and I think there are at least 4 other threads on our swap in that forum.

I thought taxus did not do well in southern climes

I thought you had to use Podocarpus it is similar-looking, but can take the heat.
