Question for Salpiglover

Hi, Salpiglover. I saw your post for Salpiglossis on the PDB tonight. I am wondering what zone you are in. I live in central Ohio zone 5b and have not had much luck with the salpiglossis. I used to grow them a lot when I lived near Seattle and I just loved them, as well as Schizanthus and Godetia. But spring in the Midwest goes back and forth between freezing weather and temps in the 80's. Then when June arrives it gets hot and humid and stays that way. Not exactly ideal weather for these beauties. I sure would like to get them to grow though; I was wondering if you have any advice for me. Thanks.
