I planted a flowering Red Sprire pear tree Mothers Day. There is reddish/brownish color on edges of leaves. Is that the "red" of Red Spire or ??

I believe the name of this flowering pear cultivar is "Redspire" which could be the name of the developer and not characteristics?

Be sure to post a pic, as it would be nice to see something besides Bradford Pears...

Your right. It is "redspire". The tag reads "flowering Redspire". It is my secretary who can not type or spell. Ya know, good help is so hard to find. I have a digital camera but will have to have lessons on how to post a picture here.
