Today I was lucky enough to find a wild Trumpet Vine growing along an old roadway. I pulled several large pieces off and have them in a tub of water. What is the best way to root this beautiful vine? Should I make small clippings and use rooting powder or ?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Rooting Trumpet Vine
Don't know about rooting stem cuttings, but any piece of the roots will start a new plant. Mine threatened to take over, traded some away and pulled out the rest. Can you go back and dig out a nice rooted sucker?
Check out this post. :) I have rooted plain old C. radicans before. No problem. http://davesgarden.com/t/376952/
