Low on Potash and Nitrogen

Southwestern, OH(Zone 6b)

is there anything I can add to the soil (besides store bought fertilizer) right now, to help the postash and Nitrogen levels in my soil?

We didn't manure last fall, and I'm sure that is probably part of the reason the soil is deficient now... but is there anything I can do right now to help out??
thanks in advance

Hi melissa,
I just found this post, maybe its too late. I am seeding a new garden plot with dutch white clover, it seeds in very fast and is supposed to be a good source of nitrogen when tilled back in. I read in my encyclopedia that it can be invasive so Im not sure how you feel about that. Its an annual that I guess should be controlled before it seeds?
