I would like to grow a banana plant but wanted to check in with the experts here and see which varieties you would recommend. I'm in Zone 8a in DFW, and want to grow a banana for it's tasty fruit. Actually my 14 year old son wants to grow one...and I'm happy to encourage his interest. Thanks for your help.
