Ooer, what's that going to turn into Tracey?

That's just too cool Stacey. You take the coolest wild life pictures of these little critters :)

The closest I can come is Geometrid Moth, Family Geometridae, one of the largest moth families worldwide. Some of the larvae do attach bits of flowers to themselves for camouflage. These are the Inchworms, Loopers and Measuring Tape caterpillars.
Thanks Susan, I love the creatures I see all around me...they have such incredible colors and shapes. My camera really lets me see them!

Thanks for the info.
I agree with flowox, your shots are superb!
What camera do you use?

Lutz, FL(Zone 9b)

I use a Sony Mavica CD1000, which was discontinued after the first year. It's perfect for my needs, comfortable and balanced and I love that it captures to disc. The 10x zoom and steady shot were a big plus too!

Awesome pic...what amazing camouflage! I so enjoy your wonderful photos!

ps:I use a mavica too...just love the dirct to disc ability!

I wouldn't trade this camera for anything. The close up ability is incredible and I too love the capture to disc. I hope other cameras will eventually follow suit. So simple and so very inexpensive!
