European Terrestrial

OK yeah, European ground orchids, not quite so showy or marketable as BIG flowered store bought cultivar/unnamed seedling epiphytic tropical types, but at least as interesting.

Here's a Dactylorhiza (Marsh Orchid) one of many I came across this weekend on a trek in the Forest.

Thank you both. Dactylorhiza identification can be a little difficult but I think I've pinned this one down to D. maculata ... for now. I had originally thought it was D. fuchsii but I'm pretty sure it's not.
