Can anyone ID this plant for me? Grows wild, likes semi-shade to shade, can be intrusive. I think it looks like some kind of wild coral bell, but I've heard some locals refer to it as a foam flower?

Can't really see the flowers (I know they're tiny and it's hard to get a good pic sometimes). Foam Flower is usually Tiarella wherryi but your's looks more like Fringe cups - Tellima grandiflora.

Thanks Baa - - - The flower diffently does not look like Tiarella wherryi. It does however look like the Tellima grandiflora flower, only white. Would this make a difference in ID or is it just because it's the wild version.

Teisha :)

PS - just went outside to get a better picture of the flower but they have all stopped blooming.

According to the RHS there is only one species of Tellima (there were others but they have been bought together under T. grandiflora). The flowers can be white to green so it's perfectly possible that your flower is still a T. grandiflora just a white flowered type :) There are cultivars you may have seen on the link where the flowers are pink or red. I was quite taken by this plant when I first saw it blooming in Spinners and I also first thought it was an odd Heuchera.
