Hi,
This is my first post so bear with me if I'm retreading old ground.
Has anyone attempted fuchsia magellanica in the southeast? I've got a couple plants I mail ordered that are doing okay so far, but I'm wondering what the chances are they'll last the summer. By the way, they're only about 18" tall by 12" wide right now, but the he hummingbirds love them.
Thanks
First Post - Fuchsia Question
Keep them in shade or dappled shade so they do not get a lot of hot afternoon sun. They like an acidic soil and should be kept well watered during spring and summer. They are easily rooted from soft wood cuttings so you can make up more plants easily if you want them.
