Philomel there are a colony of watervoles now living on my new allotment. Down the bottom end the plot is full of water channels and I suspect this is where they find their food. On the allotment I want to make a wildlife pond that overflows into a boggarden and want to keep my cultivation methods in accordance with the surrounding wildlife. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

For instance how big should I make my pond? I do not want it too big but I dont want it too small either? and how deep should it be?
