I'm the one who asked the question on Welcome Mat. My boxwood hedge sits in front of the front porch all across my house and is 25 years old. It's healthy but leafy on top and in front only - totally bare internally. It needs to come down a couple of feet in all directions. I guess I'm just going to wait till next winter, whack it senseless and let it look awful till it fills out again. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
