Me too. I have now become an ambassador to the ladybug larvae. Having mistaken them for an nasty leaf eatting wormy thingy, great name, I know, I am now their spokesperson. So, just in case you have not encountered them let me share a picture of one with you, and anyone reading this thread.

Glad I know what they look like so I won't kill them because I love ladybugs
took this picture last year when it was in my asparagus fern (which by the way died over the winter :(

The stage between larvae and adult is pretty unusual too. I'll get a picture up so you'll have a heads up on that too. Is there a forum for beneficials? That might be fun to share this kind of stuff on. I'll ask Dave, that is if their isn't one already set up.
