How precious! We had a cardinal nest outside one of our family room windows and got to watch the babies grow up. It was really neat! Unfortunately, the second year when the cardinals nested in that same tree, a stray cat got the nest :( They haven't been back to nest there since, but I planted a new tree nearby that they were checking out this spring. Maybe when it gets a little bit bigger...

Cute pic Lisa! Think there's just 2 chicks? Love how she embellished that nest--now that I know they use plastic for building material, maybe I can spot one.

Thanks ladies. We are enjoying watching the Mom feeding her babies. She did do great handy work on the nest! It amazes me how sturdy and well put together the nest can be. She only has 2 chicks.
