We have to be out of town for 10 days. Can we place some pots in a large flat container like a under the bed storage box. I'd probably drill holes on the sides so if it rains it won't flood.. will that work for mostly Cannas & small brugs. Any other ideas?

The cannas should do fine like that. they don't seem to mind wet feet and in fact many can and are used as pond plants. I don't know about the brugs though.
Zany, IF they don't get watered can the go that long (10 days). I put some watering crystals in the dirt. I have 2 in pots & some babies. Maybe God will water them as I kinda doubt the man next door will.
I would leave water in the tray for the canna but please try asking on the Brug forum about those! I would be afraid to even try to guess since I have not raised them. But those Brugs people seem to really know their stuff!
