These Stellars vanished for about a month but are now back and spent the day making a ruckus. They must be nesting nearby because they hang out here most of the time. The only fiercer teritorial birds here are the hummers that show up and chase these two away while they take over for awhile each day.
They hang around and pull at the fresh green leaves of the budding trees unless they see me coming. Then they start making more noise until I feed them some bread crumbs or fill the feeder.
Cool, that's the relative to the Blue Jay, right? Dang he looks big. Do they scream alot like ours do? Do you have ours?
These Jays are vety noisy! I don't know if they are the same as the ones in your area but they could be. We also have a smaller blue jay here but unlike these the other smaller jay is migratory and does not stay here yeear round like thes rascals do.
