Anyone know of a good way to get rid of root weevils? They took out many of my tuberous begonias last year and I just lost a beautiful new toad lily. Seems that a preventative might be the way to go since you can't see them until it's too late.

Yay, just take out the rootball. Dunk it in a pot of water for 10 days. The weevils die. The plant survives. Replant it.
This worked for me in several pots of weevil-infested chives last year.
You don't read this stuff in textbooks... :-)
