Does anyone know what these worms hanging from my elm trees are? They hang on webbs and are about 1 inch long.Do I need to be concerned or let it go?They are a pain when they get in your Hair! Thanks for helping out a dummy about worms!

Not a dumb question, and you're no dummy. :)
What color are the caterpillars/worms? Are they fuzzy or smooth? Are there clusters of them, or do they tend to just be all by their lonesome? Do they have webs in the leaves?
