Forward spam to your isp?

I thought about forwarding all this spam we get to my internet service provider to see if it irritates them enough to do something about it. I pay for filter service provided by them that is supposed to catch this stuff so I thought maybe they should see what is slipping by it. At least their filter catches most of the porn stuff, that was a big relief. What do you do? Would this help?
