We had a baby "possum" last night. It was cold and hungry and about as big as my hand. I brought it in, fed it cat food and gave it water and a towel to sleep on. Called the vet this morning and she said to put it out where it was found and the momma o'possum would come and get it.
Guess what Dave? Wally was scared of the little thing, but of course he barked at it and it fell over like it was dead, playing "possum".

I put it by a brush pile and it curled up under the brush. I figured it would be safe there. My housekeeper checked on it a few times, and it was okay. That evening, it was gone so I am hoping momma came for it. The vet said she only feeds them once a day.
