My butterfly garden is sprouting back up slowly, but surely. And I already have a number of caterpillars out on the larval plants. I have seen teensy weensy gulf fritillary caterpillars (about 5 in all), two black swallowtail caterpillars (one of which I brought in the house so as to make sure it wasn't eaten by anything), and I have seen cloudless sulphurs laying eggs on my Cassia alata, though I haven't looked to see if any have hatched and survived the ants thus far. I can't wait until the garden is alive and teeming with butterflies again :)
They're back!
