Well, it is happening, one of my Does has toxemia. I noticed it late last night that something is going on with her. I highly suspect the other Doe will follow her lead. I have been putting Backstrap cane syrup in their water for about a month now to try to avoid toxemia. Apparently the babies are pulling everything from the moms. They are getting very run down. They need to kid...TODAY!!!... The feed stores are all closed on Sundays and I haven't any meds for toxemia, other than prayer. Would anyone have any suggestions? I have been up and down every goat site on the net for info. last night--might anyone have an old time sure fired remedy?
