Paint disasters

I painted one wall of my livingroom a lovely slate blue today. Unfortunately the paint was oil based and the glaze was acrylic, which means I have a horribly uneven mess and will have to re-prime and start over again. Has anyone else ever done anything so foolish?????

the good news it that Stan likes the color and the effect, so when I redo it, I won't have to worry about the response. Bad news is that the fumes are giving me an asthma attack. I knew there was a good reason that I always use acrylic!!
