Antrim, Northern Ire, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

It was a very warm 14.5C/58F today.

Lots of birds singing today. Nests are filling Rookeries all over the place.

Frog spawn appeared in a friends pond during last Saturday night

Long tailed tits were foraging right outside my window. I just love them. I was looking for signs of them gathering nesting material, but they were just filling their faces LOL.
A female blackbird was collecting nesting material in the front garden, but I was in too much of a rush to wait and see where she was taking it :(

There was a green woodpecker on the Robinia much to the annoyance of the thrushes which were making an unsuccessful attempt to chase it away. They often nest in the large trees in the park at the bottom of the garden. One year all the fledgelings were lined up on the garden fences making a heck of a racket begging mum and dad to collect food for them.

Horn, Netherlands(Zone 8b)
