RUBY THROAT MIGRATION MAP

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

This link shows the migration dates for different parts of the US & Canada for RTs last year. It should give you an idea when to expect them in your area this yr: http://www.hummingbirds.net/2002maps.html

Here is an animated map for the west coast for Rufous:

It is time to clean your feeders and get ready for the hummers to arrive.

Great! gotta get ready for this!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

thanks Larry, they'll be here much sooner than I would have thought!

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

I just watch the Dogwoods! When they're on, I know my wild azeleas are blooming--which I believe is their first stop before coming to my windows or the missing feeder spots! Don't you have to wonder how long they live? I'm sure a lot of us notice this activity, right?
Humm, maybe we should like being called "bird brain".
