A pair of Collared doves are building a nest in some ivy which is growing on a chainlink fence. There is also a pair building in a tall leylandii in a neighbours garden.
Blue and Great Tits are singing outside. The latter are inspecting nest boxes every day. The Blue tit male is chasing all the other Blue Tits away from the feeders. I think he is setting up a territory

Well, it's the 20th now, but anyway, saw loads of lapwing/peewits/green plover in amongst the emerging wheat on top of the North Downs in beautiful sunshine today
