Dirt....cheap

This is almost amusing....

Kmart is doomed, right? Well, what should I see when I drive by, but an employee dumping bags of Miracle Grow potting soil out on their grassy parking lot areas. No wonder they're going out of business.

I inquired if I could buy what was left and the short version of the story is "yes". I bought 10-12 bags of Miracle Grow potting soil, 6 bags of weed and feed (some were Scotts brand) and a variety of bags of no-name top soil. We nearly filled the back of a small pickup.

The cost? $5.44, tax included. The cost of one bag of Miracle Grow.
