Just returned from CA and finishing my daughter's birthday present. She has an Atrium approx 10'X10' and requested that I pot things up in it as her B/D present.

And after a lovely lunch with SoCal at the Citrus Grill in historic downtown Orange I found enough time to do a little in her backyard.
My daughter was thrilled with her gift and I was pleased to be able to do it. Much of the knowledge used came from DGers.

I am back to Iowa now! Brrrrr! Thought of you today as I am making cabbage rolls again. DH thinks they would be good in this cold weather! Your "UP E" has a new ear-look'in good. Should take a pic and send you.

Citrus Grill? On North Grassel? I love their Ahi with coconut (I make something similar beginning with monk fish). I've had some luck duplicating their mango relish ;~)

Yes, the Citrus Grill is on Glassell in downtown Orange. My, Adam, you are a world travelor if you have been there! LOL And actually, my house is right off the North end of Glassell, near the 91 Frwy! Some friends of mine started that restuarant and later sold it. They did keep the famous original meatloaf and potroast on the menu but all else has changed.
