What is Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate?

Does anyone know what Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate actually is? I am making bath fizzies and I found a recipe that calls for this ingredient.

Also, I need a good bath fizzy recipe in general. Does anyone have one? I've had a lot of failures with these so far & I thought these would be easy compared to making Cold Processed soap!

Edited since I forgot to ask if anyone is familiar with what this is, do they also know where it might be purchased?
