I found him washed up on the shore when big wave came in and left him stranded. We are on the Laguna side of the dunes, in the same area where we found the blue crabs. When I put him back in the water he didn't take long to scoot away fast!! He is the kind of hermit crab that lives in the water, not the tree hermit crabs that you buy in the pet stores.
well...give him to Wally!! LOL JO
Wally was afraid of it, lol. He barked like crazy!!
Hermit crabs are cool. When I lived on St. George Is. one of the resturants held hermit crab races each year. Such a hoot..the mullet toss was crazy too.
