Blue Crab

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

We were in the tidal flats. When the tide comes in, some areas fill with water from the Laguna. The edge is flat and about knee deep and will quickly drop off to over your head, so when walking you have to pay attention to where you put your feet. These waters are crawling with all kinds of critters, especially these little blue crabs.

I did really good till it was time to leave and I stepped on a sharp piece of shell. I only had one pair of shoes with me and didn't want them wet and full of sand.
