I doubt he liked the flash much. You can see the light reflected off the raindrops.

He looks like the ones I have on my front porch. I think he's a cuban tree frog. The FL native tree frogs are all very small (less than 2 inches long). I still have a couple hanging out on my front porch on the frog statue
