I cut some everlasting sweetpeas and put them in a vase. They were fuscia outside and for the first few days. Today they have turned lavender on the bottom flowers and as they go up they are variagated lavender and white and then white on the top ones. This is very pretty, but why did it do that? It is like the color is being washed out the further up the stalk it goes.
