to get the seeds out? I have swan gourds, and want to paint them to represent my grandbabies. Don't really want to make a hole that's visible. If I cut on the bottom, then it would make them easier to rot or not? I won't be setting them on the ground, but have thought of putting them outside next year, but that's not certain. I might just keep them indoors for display. (now that I'm thinking out loud, that sounds better)
anyway, suggestions on where to cut to remove seeds? or do I even have to? these are very well dried.
where should I cut
tiG, I have some gourds nearly 5 yrs old. Have never taken the seeds out and they are doing just fine. (course now, I haven't even crafted on them either! They just sit there and look at me.) I believe if they are good and dry (rattling seeds) there should be no real need to take the seed out.
thanks!!! now to find time to do something with them!!!
