Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

We have a good start on our new greenhouse. Ends will be finished tomarrow, then the strips for fastening plastic.
Maybe the covering will be on by the end of the week. This will be are first house to use in the spring. Only 25 X 60 so not so much to heat!

The furnace you see in this photo is a 200,000 BTU oil fired. Has a 18" fan with a 1HP motor. We hook a plastic heat tube on the outlet. It has holes ever 3'. Really distributes air nice. This furnace is built just for geenhouses. The fan will be used when extremly hot. A 26" fan will be in the hole above the big one. Small one will run first, if it can't handle it the big one will come on.
There is a self opening & closing louver on the oppisite end. Also a large door that can be openned to allow cool air in. Both fans have their own thermostat.

Bernie, You've got a beautiful GH. It's huge! How have you anchored it? Do you have it in cement?

Liz, we (my family; wife, son & daughter)are in this little business we call Country Gardens. Our main greenhouse product has been perennials from seed. Last 2 years did about 140 varieties. We sell them in a 3 1/2" pot. Very reasonably priced. Sold somewhere in the neighborhood of 7000. As seed varieties are limited, we now are going to add perennials started from cuttings, divisons and such. They will go in a larger pot. This house will be for growing them. We bought it used and it came with some very nice benches to hold pots. Also is fitted for 4 rows of hanging baskets, so they will be in there also. We have 2 other houses, one is 30 X 96 & the other is 20 X 88.
My son does all of the growing for us. He keeps very busy.
