cardinal vine

Gave a friend in Indiana a cardinal vine (bought it as a plant). It grew and flowered like crazy. Do you think it will reseed on its own? Anyone know where I can get the white variety?

sometimes people confuse cardinal climber with cypress vine which does come in white, pink and red. Cardinal climber only comes in red unless this is something they just came out with. They look very similar except the Cardinal climber has slightly fuller foliage whereas the cypress vine has more needle like foliage similar to the cosmos.
