Here is my friend, Pepper Jack. Since pumpkins are pretty expensive in Alaska, I thought I'd use a pepper instead. He's a devilish red peppo-lantern, and his hair is leek root. Poor little guy had a hard time staying lit for this picture. Could only fit a birthday candle in there! Oh well, looks like I've got a head start on tonight's salad!
