Kittly litter odors

Does anyone have a homemade recipe for a deodorant that will help kitty litter odors? I have two indoor cats and their litter box can get pretty stinky in just a few minutes. By the time I get home from work, phew!! I have switched to the expensive crystal kind of litter and that helps but the price is outrageous.
