I was going through some of my mother's old sewing notions and found some buttons and belt buckles I remembered from when I was a child, and bits of trim, and all sorts of interesting sewing notions like a 10 cent Woolworth's Needle Book that had 79 needles in it! And a sewing kit from First National Bank and Trust that had the sewing thread woven together in a kind of elaborate braid that still allowed you to pull out one thread at a time...
I was thinking it would be neat to gather that stuff and some of Mom's old patterns and put them in a shadow box frame for Christmas for my sister...
anyone have a website or instructions on how to go about putting such a thing together?
