As my vines begin to die off I have found a few surprises! This birdhouse gourd was completely dried while still on the vine and when I went to pull it off I saw that the bottom had a hole in it...and a birds nest!! Guess they just couldn't wait to move in! LOL
Mollybee...since you hadn't gotten that gourd ready for "rental" yet...I'd call those birds "squatters". LOL Nice picture. Jo

I have never had that happen to me I guess it's because of all the cats we have around here.
