Any other Anne Tyler fans?

I love her books! I'd forgotten how much until I picked up A Patchwork Planet at the library last week. I'm mid-way through and really enjoying it.

She really has a gift for creating good, interesting stories that don't resort to heart-pounding chases, blood or gore or other contrivances.

Just simply told, richly woven stories about people - with all their faults, whom you like because or despite their shortcomings and quirks :)

If you haven't ready any of her books, I definitely recommend them. Ummm, all of them. (But skip the movie version of the Accidental Tourist - like most movies, the book is much better :)
