OK, mandevillas are in. Now I have a purple lady passion vine blooming away outside. Does she have to come in also?
Can I mulch her? Doris
Passion flower
I'm not sure how hardy Purple Lady is but surely she won't be hardy to zone 5. You'd be better off to bring her in for the winter. Is she in a pot?
No, but after I disconnect her from everything, I can pot her up and bring her in. Does she need sun, a north window, basement or garage? This is my first passion flower. Is it best to treat her as a houseplant or should I let her go dormant if she wants?
I keep mine potted inside, in winter, and outside in summer.
Do not trim back too far to bring inside, maybe 20"-30" keep them growing through the winter.
Thanks, then I will bring her in today as its going down to freezing tonight. Doris
