HELP! Painting question

I am painting my kitchen walls from light color almost white to a faux finish with a base called "hothouse tomato"...

And I am painting against a pointy textured ceiling... I cannot mask the ceiling from the wall color!

How can I avoid having to go back and cover the mistakes on the white texture stuff?

I'd like to keep the paint off that altogether and also figure out a way to get a STRAIGHT edge between ceiling and wall.

HELP!!!
