P foetida

Lutz, FL(Zone 9b)

I had to pull several vines out of this oak tree so the didn't get damaged by the "tree guys". I laid them on my little border fence and they seem to be doing okay. I thought this was a nice picture of them.

Are your's as lavender as they look? They are different from both of mine. Here is foetida hirsuta, will post foetida white/purple later.

Floridan, take tip cuttings from leafy stems(not blooming ones) and count back 3 nodes and cut below the 3rd node, dip in root hormone, stick in sand, perlite or vermiculite. Keep moist and shaded till rooted.

Sounds easy enough! I'll take a look at the vine tomorrow.

There's sumthin like 50 named varieties of foetida. Just think Cala - you'll only have 47 left to find :o)
