Butterfly on my hand

I had opened my hand after removing this one from the greenhouse. He sat there while I got my camera from the car. It's a Buckeye.

Yes, he wouldn't leave, I think he liked my warm hand.

I never see this one too so beautiful. I tried to get the yellow one butterfly but took off fast. I almost got once.

RR, early in the morning, they aren't moving so fast. They have to get warmed up first.

I've never seen one of these. I always thought they were big like a monarch. Shows ya what I know. He's pretty. I love those eyes!

Poppysue, they must be hatching in the greenhouse. I've "rescued" three more in the last few days. They all sit on my hand for a minute before flying away.
