Has pods!! These are the teeniest little fruits. They are covered with a sticky mesh like covering until they ripen. They are full of black seeds. I didn't taste of the fruit. It just didn't look appetizing.

I tasted of mine, and was not sure if I liked it or not, lol..Kind of sour tasting to me..Very different, but the birds like them.

Wait til the fruits fall of with the slightest touch, then they are ripe. These you do not have to wait til they get really wrinkled, unlike P. incarnata, edulis, etc.
