Going to the bathroom in the night.

I go to the bathroom 3-5 times every night and have done so for the past 20 years.I can't imagine what it is like to sleep through the night without going to the bathroom, as I have never done so.I don't think it has had any adverse affect on me....I'm not tired during the day, and never sleep during the day unless I am ill.If I mention this to people they are horrified.....What do you think? Should I seek medical advice ?
