I hope someone out there can tell me where I can buy bulbs of the old-fashioned fragrant narcissus, the kind that has three or four small blossoms on each stem. I often see them blooming in the spring around old home places that appear to be abandoned. The ones I'm familiar with have cream petals and yellowish trumpets. Paperwhites won't do. They don't smell as good. Any help would be appreciated.
Fragrant old-fashioned narcissus
This place http://www.oldhousegardens.com/daffodil.html has a good selection of heirloom narcissus & other bulbs. You might be able to find a name for the variety you're looking for and go from there.
Thanks, Poppysue. I did see see some varieties that may be what I'm looking for.
